Bacterial meningitis is a rare, but very serious infection which attacks the blood stream. Once in the blood stream it can begin to cause serious damage to limbs and body appendages; it can also cause brain injury, severe intracranial bleeding and can, if left untreated, lead to death.

going on in this country in regard to erroneous charges of child abuse
by shaking. Unfortunately, Arnold had to learn of the tragedy at the price
of having his wife imprisoned. The standard of proof demanded for other
situations is far more rigorous than what is accepted for SBS cases.....especially
ironic
is the fact the basic premise is probably wrong.
